Barrett Jackson Auto Auction Is a Car Lovers Dream Event

Is there really any better package than the one that includes luxury, classic, and exotic cars up for sale along with a host of other events like polo matches, thrill rides in some of the hottest car models available, and a BMX exhibition? If you can't imagine all of this over a period of nine days, you've never had the chance to properly experience the Barrett-Jackson Auto Auction.

The Brand

Barrett-Jackson is an American based company headquartered out of Scottsdale. They specialize in classic and antique car auctions these days, but that wasn't always the case. In 1967, founders Russ Jackson and Tom Barrett organized a charity fundraiser car show. Thanks to its popularity, a few years later, they presented a classic car auction. One of the first vehicles up for sale was one of Hitler's staff cars. It went for $153,200, more than triple any previous auction record. A trend was quickly born, and as the car collector industry continued to develop, the auction gained popularity. By 1997, it was broadcast live on the Speed channel, and suddenly, a worldwide phenomenon was born.

2018 - A Year to Look Forward To

This year's auction promises to be just as grand as every other year. It's scheduled to take place from January 13 - January 21 at Westworld. The vehicles this year include a 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Ram Air IV Convertible, a 2005 Ford GT, a 1971 Dodge Challenger, a 1970 Plymouth Superbird, and a 1968 Ford Shelby GT500KR Convertible, just to name a few.

Even if you aren't interested in bidding on the cars, there's much more to this show. Not only will you have a chance to look at some of the most amazing vehicles ever, you can also catch the motorcycle exhibition, head for an amazing ride on our closed course with a professional driver, or pick up car care tips from some of the biggest industry names throughout the day. Sure, you could be one of the six million people who watch it on television or you could be in the audience this year!
