From Hair to Homes.
Prior to arriving in the U.S.A. in 1981 Ronnie had the most exciting business career in the U.K. Having always had a great interest in fashion, he decided that the facet of high fashion that interested him the most was ladies hair couture. In learning his trade he worked with many top stylists and eventually spent time in Paris, which at that time was regarded as the Mecca for couture hairstyling. All of the top fashion designers were based there. Returning to London, Ronnie felt that he was not satisfied with his own personal achievements, and it was at this time that he met with Vidal Sassoon. Sassoon had developed a totally new technique of hair styling based on the cutting of hair. Enthused, Ronnie joined with the Sassoon team in the Bond Street Salon and worked with many of the top models and fashion photographers of the day. Striking out on his own, Ronnie opened his own salons in fashionable West End Hotels. His personally designed salons offered, not only ladies and gentleman’s hair styling in luxurious surroundings, he also included his own brand of cosmetics and hair products together with boutiques selling jewelry and handbags.
In 1977, Ronnie sold his business interests and retired to Monte Carlo.
As glamorous as life was in Monte Carlo, Ronnie craved for the excitement and challenge of the business world, living, as he had, in Europe, Ronnie had a great fascination, and indeed, visited many fine homes and it was this fascination that led him to meet up with Mark Moskowitz. Together, they created the highly successful Moskowitz and Gilbert Luxury Residential.
Winner of many awards and accolades, including the prestigious Presidents Phoenix Roundtable Aware (twice), Ronnie’s field of expertise includes the luxury real estate markets of metropolitan Phoenix, Paradise Valley, and Scottsdale. Having worked with leading architects, builders and designers, his knowledge of upscale properties is unsurpassed, therefore assuring of his ability to meet and exceed the expectations of the most discerning buyers and sellers.
