Cave Creek, along with its sister city of Carefree, is nestled just north of Scottsdale, Arizona.
Known for its beautifully preserved open spaces and multiple-acre homesites, Cave Creek offers magnificent 360-degree Sonoran desert and mountain views for all its residents. Cowboys, yuppies, artists, hippies — Cave Creek is a 31-square-mile melting pot of approximately 5,000 individuals — or should we say individualists — all drawn to this quirky town’s combination of wondrous Sonoran desert and mountain scenery, and, well, quirkiness.

In 2013, the median age for a Cave Creek resident was 55.5 years and the median household income was just above $75,000. Most residents of Cave Creek come to the town for its wide open land, acceptance of diversity and distance from city life.
