Welcome to Dove Valley Ranch
A master-planned community located in the Tonto National Forest's foothills in Cave Creek, Dove Valley Ranch offers residents the opportunity to live amongst nature.
Bright night skies, natural terrain and desert wildlife provide an authentic, peaceful atmosphere to call home. While it's just a few miles away from the bustle of the city, Dove Valley Ranch provides privacy and tranquility not commonly available in a metro area.
The Neighbors
Golfers, winter visitors and all-ages of families enjoy living in this relatively new community.
One of the anchors of Dove Valley Ranch is its Golf Club which features a course designed by Robert Trent Jones II. The result is a diverse 850-acre community where golfers can live close to their much-loved links, but buyers looking for more affordable options also can find a place to call home. Some of the Valley's most prominent homebuilders chose Dove Valley Ranch as a site for their communities, so buyers can be confident that they'll find modern, popular floor plans.
What To Expect
Affordable homes by Northeast Valley standards, built by some of the most respected homebuilders in the Valley.
Part of the attraction of the Northeast Valley — Cave Creek, Carefree and Scottsdale — is its desert setting and remote nature. Dove Valley Ranch's location near the intersection of Carefree Highway and Cave Creek Road means it's not only positioned in the desirable Northeast Valley, but it's also close to shopping, galleries and similar venues including those found at The Boulders Resort and el Pedregal Marketplace.
What Not To Expect
Late-night parties, clubs and the "scene" — all of that is a few miles south in the main Cave Creek thoroughfare.
One of the amenities of living in Cave Creek is its desire to be unlike the “big city”. For example, street lights are installed at a minimum which preserves the "natural" feeling of the town — including Dove Valley Ranch. When the master-plan was designed, homes were intentionally spaced an average of 300-feet apart which is significantly more than most other communities in the Valley. The result is extra privacy, bright and starry skies, and spectacular sunrises and sunsets.
The Lifestyle
Golf-focused, active and open to nature.
This is a community that likes being close to the outdoors. Dove Valley Ranch is located just a few minutes from the heart of Cave Creek, one of the Valley's most authentically Western enclaves. From decades-old bars and restaurants to horseback riding stables to Wild West-style museums and annual cultural events and street fairs, Cave Creek's Western vibe is the real deal — and a lot of fun for residents as well as tourists. For the active-minded, nearby Tonto National Forest offers some of the best trails for biking, hiking and horseback riding in the entire state.
You'll Fall In Love With
Starry night skies, cooler evenings, more open space and oneness with nature.
With its higher elevation compared to the basin in Phoenix, Cave Creek enjoys slightly cooler temperatures than down in the city. The result is cooler more comfortable nights — even in the summer — perfect for stargazing, s'mores-making and reveling in the beauty of the desert. And during the heat of the summer, the temperatures aren't quite as oppressively hot as some of the lower-elevation locales — indeed, a day spent around the pool can be pretty darn comfortable.
