Grayhawk Elementary School, which has been nationally recognized and awarded for educational excellence, is located in the community on the southwest corner of Grayhawk Drive and 76th Street and is part of the Paradise Valley Unified School District. El Dorado Private School is also available for children in preschool through eighth grade, offering low student/teacher ratios, advanced curriculum, accelerated classes, integrated hands-on learning, after-school programs and extended before- and after-school care. Residents of all ages can enjoy more than 30 miles of multi-use trails perfect for hiking and biking plus several playgrounds, a large greenbelt, neighborhood pools, community tennis and basketball courts, ramadas, barbecue pavilions and more.

Speaking of golfing greats, The Retreat is host to Grayhawk’s two greatly admired 18-hole golf courses, The Talon and The Raptor.
