Located at Power and Queen Creek roads in charming Gilbert, the 1414-acre community of Power Ranch has quickly gained a well-deserved reputation for its welcoming atmosphere and lovely homes that are ideal for families of all sizes.

Eleven neighborhoods make up Power Ranch; each of them is connected with a trail system that encourages area residents to get out, meet their neighbors and enjoy a walk or jog.

The Neighbors

Power Ranch was designed with aesthetics in mind. Unlike some communities where neighbors disappear into their garages and homes, Power Ranch offers a sense of yesteryear. The tree-lined streets — filled with gorgeous landscaping — offer plenty of shade even on the hottest of August days. Each of the area’s 11 neighborhoods is built around a park filled with playground equipment, sport courts, barbecues and more.

What To Expect

Clubhouses, fishing lakes, parks and walking trails galore.

Residents of Power Ranch typically find it hard to stay indoors. And really, why should they? Parents and grandparents who want to teach their young family members to fish will get their chance at the 2.2-acre catch-and-release lake at the scenic Community Park; the lake includes a wooden pier that offers plenty of room for newbie and experienced anglers alike. The Trailside Community Park also boasts a catch-and-release lake; when everyone is ready for lunch, head to one of the nearby covered picnic pavilions to rest, relax and refuel.

What Not To Expect

Power Ranch is made up of 7,400 residential units that are tied together with 26-plus miles of trails. Although the neighborhoods are similar, they each have distinct qualities that help distinguish them from each other. For example, Mountain View Neighborhood features a greenbelt, a playground and Sissoo trees, while oak trees and Desert Ruellia shrubs adorn The Oaks Neighborhood — along with a full basketball court and a turf volleyball court.

The Lifestyle

Conveniently located schools in an exceptional school district.

Power Ranch Elementary School is conveniently locataed in the community. Centennial Elementary School is also in the area, while teens attend Higley High School or Williams Field High School. Graduates will find college-level classes at Chandler-Gilbert Community College at Williams Gateway and at ASU East at Williams Gateway.
