Parents and grandparents who want to teach their young family members to fish will get their chance at the 2.2-acre catch-and-release lake at the scenic Community Park; the lake includes a wooden pier that offers plenty of room for newbie and experienced anglers alike. The Trailside Community Park also boasts a catch-and-release lake; when everyone is ready for lunch, head to one of the nearby covered picnic pavilions to rest, relax and refuel.

Power Ranch is made up of 7,400 residential units that are tied together with 26-plus miles of trails. Although the neighborhoods are similar, they each have distinct qualities that help distinguish them from each other. For example, Mountain View Neighborhood features a greenbelt, a playground and Sissoo trees, while oak trees and Desert Ruellia shrubs adorn The Oaks Neighborhood — along with a full basketball court and a turf volleyball court.
The Lifestyle

Power Ranch Elementary School is conveniently locataed in the community. Centennial Elementary School is also in the area, while teens attend Higley High School or Williams Field High School. Graduates will find college-level classes at Chandler-Gilbert Community College at Williams Gateway and at ASU East at Williams Gateway.
