Tempe

Located in the Valley of the Sun, Tempe is a unique, fun and even funky town with a personality all its own. Around 161,000 people call Tempe home, while thanks to its large number of employers, approximately 150,000 work in the area. Tempe, which was incorporated in 1894, is also home to Arizona State University and several other higher education institutions; this large number of schools means many residents have earned a Bachelor’s degree or better and are exceptionally creative and forward-thinking.
