Colleen’s Dream Foundation is a cause close to many people within the Launch Real Estate Family. Colleen’s Dream was founded by Launch Realtor Nicole Cundiff, Michelle Batschelet and Nicole’s husband Billy in 2012 to fund ovarian cancer research with the primary goal of developing an accurate and accessible early detection test.
The foundation is in honor of Nicole & Michelle’s mother Colleen, who was diagnosed with late-stage ovarian cancer in 2007. Currently, ovarian cancer does not have a standardized early detection test and as a result, is the deadliest of all gynecological cancers.
Launch Partner Sean Zimmerman and his wife Somer, current Colleens Dream Board Member, have been involved in Colleen’s Dream since its inception. As friends of Colleen’s daughters, Nicole, Michelle, Danielle & Billy, the Zimmerman’s have volunteered at every event since the Foundation began. In the fall of 2017, after Nicole’s sister Michelle Batschelet joined Launch as part of the Morrison team, they began to see the scope of crossover between Launch Real Estate and Colleen’s Dream Foundation.
Chris Morrison, Launch Partner and current Colleen’s Dream Board member, and Zimmerman realized how many Launch Co-Founders and agents are active with Foundation and its annual events. Morrison looked to take the relationship one step further and secured Launch Real Estate’s participation as the Presenting Sponsorship for the Golf Tournament & Evening of Dreams Gala.
The 2018 Colleen’s Dream Golf Tournament & Evening of Dreams Gala is being held on February 23rd & 24th The golf tournament is being held at the Biltmore Golf Club, Adobe Course on Friday, February 23rd. The Evening of Dreams Gala is Saturday, February 24th at the JW Marriott Camelback Inn.
Those who participate in Colleen's Dream are much more than just patrons. This foundation is a gathering of friends to support an incredible cause and an incredible person.
